Barb and I talked about our experiences with Bartow Builders during the remodeling of our home. We had two remodeling projects done – replacement of all the windows in our home, and kitchen remodeling that included replacement of all cabinets, counter tops, sink and flooring. Some plumbing and electrical and drywall work was also done.
We had no previous experience with remodeling or working with contractors. We wanted to do the window project first, and decided to go to the Manitowoc County Home Builders Show to get some information. We looked and talked to the contractors and window vendors at the show. We asked a lot of questions and received many answers. The one thing that is very important to us, is that we have a comfort level and trust the people we deal with. We talked to Brandon Bartow at the show, and felt comfortable and had our questions answered, with answers that made sense to us. Remember, we never did this before, and we needed someone who gave us straight answers, and also told us about things we didn't know enough about to ask the question.
We set up a meeting with Brandon at our home, and reviewed our needs and desires and got a quote. I looked at the quote and had more questions – I am a nut for details. All my questions were answered and we decided to have Bartow Builders do the work.
The quality of the windows installed and the workmanship on the project was top notch, as we expected it to be. We love our new windows. I mentioned quality and workmanship, which are very important, but just as important are the people who do the work, and here Barb and I were impressed. During the course of our window project, we had many Bartow Builders employees at our home doing the work. They had to have access to all parts of the house. They were all neat, well groomed, and courteous and easy to talk to. They worked hard and didn't waste time and always cleaned up any debris created by their work. We felt very comfortable having them in our home in fact, I have to say they were fun to have around.
Based on our window project results, Barb and I had no hesitation in having Bartow Builders do our kitchen project. The kitchen is also completed and turned out great. We want to let everyone know that Brandon and the entire crew at Bartow Builders did a tremendous job on the remodeling done on our two bathrooms. All of the suggestions made were very helpful. The quality of workmanship was excellent! The job was done in the amount of time that was stated. Each contractor was at our home on time as scheduled. If any problems arose, they were corrected immediately. We are very happy with the way every aspect of the job was done so professionally. The crew cleaned up after each day's work which was very much appreciated. Thank you also to Debbie in the office for all of her help and politeness if a problem or question came up during our project.
