Brandon Bartow, president of Bartow Builders, has successfully completed and received his Certified Aging in Place Specialist certification from the National Association of Home Builders. Brandon is currently using this special designation to provide services for those who need to modify their homes so that they may safely and more conveniently stay in their homes for a longer period of time!
Bartow Builders sent framing foremen Chad Ansorge and Shane Bartow and framer Andy Buchner to a Framing Seminar in Madison. The seminar was geared toward energy efficient framing practices and air tightness to further their knowledge and quality craftsmanship as a builder partnering with Wisconsin ENERGY STAR Homes.
Bartow Builders sent 11 employees for a 2 day tour of the James Hardie Cement BoardSiding Plant in Illinois. This product is one of the fastest growing product alternatives to exterior cladding in the residential building industry.
Craig Fischer, Project Manager of Bartow Builders attended WBA Convention and Education Conference held at Chula Vista February 10 -13. He was educated on the latest building design details, energy strategies and job site management.
Shane Bartow, Project Foreman and Brandon Bartow, President of Bartow Builders will attend the Better Building Better Business Conference March 2 – 4, 2011. They will engage in course work to educate themselves on the following subjects: “Myths, facts, barriers to Geothermal Heating, Windows and Walls, Constructing High Performance Walls with Spray Foam, Marketing your Business and Lead Safe Renovations and Asbestos Information.
